    The November LAC Meeting takes place Sunday 11/16 2:00-4:00 at
    the Northeast Branch Seattle Library, 6801 35th Ave NE, Seattle.

    Our program will be setting our priorities (subject to executive board approval) for the upcoming legislative session.

  • September 21 LAC Meeting

    The September LAC Meeting takes place Sunday 9/21, 2:00-4:00 at
    the Kirkland Library, 308 Kirkland Ave, Kirkland, 98033.

    Our special guest will be Peggy Maze Johnson of Heart of America Northwest, the Hanford watchdog group.

    The August KCDCC Legislative Action Committee Meeting
    will take place Sunday 8/17, 2:00-4:00pm at

    Covington Library
    27100 164th Ave SE,
    Covington,
    right before the Kent-Kangley Road passes under Highway 18

    Special guest is Tina Orwall, State Representative (33rd LD) and Deputy Speaker Pro Tempore

  • July 20 LAC Meeting

    The July KCDCC Legislative Action Committee Meeting
    will take place Sunday 7/20, 2:00-4:00pm at

    Seattle Library – Southwest Branch
    9010 35th Avenue SW,
    West Seattle.

    Special guest is State Representative Sharon Tomiko Santos (37th LD),
    Chair of the House Education Committee.


Currently the King County Democrats Legislative Action Committee (LAC) is chaired by Karl de Jong;cm=legislative .



The LAC is currently in the process of setting our legislative agenda for 2013 (draft available here; our 2012 agenda is also available).

The LAC meets monthly with legislators and sends out periodic Legislative Action newsletters throughout the Legislative session.  Please join our mailing list by checking legislative action on our volunteer sign up form.  Thanks
